Palak paneer

Paneer (indian cottage cheese) cooked with spinach.This is can be served with chappathis or any indian bread.




Ingredients

Paneer- 15 cubes
Palak- 1 bunch
Onions-1
Tomato- 1
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Corrainder powder- 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Cream -2-3 tbsps
Garam masala- a pinch
ghee- 2 tbsps


Directions

Fry paneer in a pan with a tbsp of ghee till it turns light brown and remove to a plate.
Now wash and drain palak and saute them along with green chilly in the same ghee used to fry paneer till they become soggy in nature.Now remove them from fire and cool them.Grind it to a paste in a blender with some salt.

Cook the tomato in a vessel with water till the skin breaks and peel the skin and make a puree of it.
Add remamining ghee and saute thinly chopped onions till transparent and brown.Add turmeric powder,corriander powder,cumin seeds and saute for a minute, now add the palak paste and also the tomato puree and cook them for 10 mins with some water.Now add garam masala,cream and paneer and cook for 5 minutes and remove from flame.
